I work with a lot of ADHD teens in an educational setting. I don't have ADHD and I am often a bit baffled by their processes, forgetfulness, etc (and really impressed by their creativity, humor, etc). What is helpful for you to hear from non-ADHD people when you are in crisis? What's really condescending to hear ("Well have you tried THIS planner?")? What would have been helpful for you to hear/learn as a teenager? Love you hags
In your vast philosophical and self-help-adjacent readings, have you come across anything that helps you see your own life as meaningful when lives around the world are treated so carelessly? I’m an academic working on the aesthetics of neoliberalism (nightmare) and it’s been more and more difficult to place any meaning on my own little activities, as I am constantly zooming out to the horrors. Thoughts?!
I read some really damning stories about AG1 including that it’s total BS (like most supplements are) but also that it has tested positive for heavy metals like lead. With this new direct subscriber model it would be cool to have more transparent access to some of your brand partnerships. AG1 was always confusing or rather, very convincing coming from you both but I know AG1 has an aggressive monthly creator budget ($2M a month I heard). How much research do you do on these products before you hawk them at us? I’m such a devoted hag that I would eat spoonfuls of lead for you both but I’m also a bit freaked out by how much power you have over me now…will my money be supporting you guys more directly so you don’t need to rely on green powder gremlins to pay you the salary you both deserve?
